It's poetic, in a way, that the big bad is a guy literally called English. Because who else can stand in the way of our relationships than language, which makes us lie, miscommunicate and hurt each other? Does it truly matter the difference between "textual" moirallegiance and "fandom" moirallegiance? Or is that merely another one of English's curse, the necessity of using language to describe our existence and thus inviting such squabbles? I don't know. I don't know. I'm sorry. I am genuinely sorry. If you want to buy this shirt to match with your loving and supportive moirail, it's okay. It's not about what the text says it's about, it's about the relationship, the people in our lives, the sheer happiness seen when they send you that <> at 1 AM to show that they care.
